Ek Family Realtors has grown with the addition of Patty & Cal Ek\'s daughter, Lorelei. We are 3 licensed Realtors(R) committed to putting our clients\' interests foremost. We enjoy helping buyers & sellers achieve their goals for family, home & investment. We strive to be known as Realtors with Heart & Integrity. Patty received the Outstanding Professionalism Award by a vote of her fellow realtors in the local MLS.
Cal & Lorelei are lifetime Clark County residents; Patty since our marriage in 1968. We know & love SW Washington. Patty specializes in property marketing by web & publication. Patty qualified as a \'Previews\' agent during her tenure with Barbara Sue Seal Realtors & Coldwell Banker. She carries the GRI designation for completing extended studies of real estate in Washington state. Patty calls Cal \'The Land Man\' as he knows most of the soil & land uses of all of Clark County & many surrounding counties. Cal\'s special expertise is soils & land use. He has helped many, many owners to perc & develop their property. He has served on committees to guide county growth, rural center zoning, soil conversation & water quality.
Cal is a professional engineer. He holds 2 degrees from WSU. When WSU sought a site for their Vancouver branch, the public was asked for input. As a private individual his nomination of the present Salmon Creek site was chosen by the regents. The beautiful WSUV campus is the direct result of Cal\'s commitment to WSU & wise land use.
We have been married 40 years & have been blessed with 6 children. Our extended family now numbers 34 with 3 spouses for our children & 23 grandkids! Our hearts yet ache as we lost a 16 month old grandson on July 20, 2003 to drowning. We miss him greatly. It is our greatest joy being parents & grandparents. We\'ve been thrice blessed (and more!) because we all share the same simple Christian faith. Cal speaks some of the Finnish language. We\'re of Scandinavian heritage, Finnish & Swedish. Our grandparents immigrated 100+ years ago to become Copper Miners in Upper Michigan, Homesteaders in the Dakotas & Loggers in Oregon. Our simple, hard working Scandinavian-American family roots are a gift of heritage to appreciate being Americans today & keep us humble in our American melting pot. We have, also, enjoyed clients of many backgrounds and feel enriched by our experiences with them. Call or email if we can assist you.
